Moroccan Belly Dance Shows and other Regular Events in Nagoya
Casablanca Restaurant features Belly-Dance shows every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night!! There's also a mid-week show on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month.
It's a whole lotta fun you won't want to miss.
Reservations highly recommended.
1,000 Yen charge applies to all weekend shows.
Presently, the mid-week shows (featuring junior dancers) are FREE of charge!!
We also feature Flamenco Dance shows once every couple of months. These shows are KASHIKIRI (meaning by reservation only) and are organized by the Flamenco Dance group. Watch the event listings for contact and reservation info.

| 2007 Walk-a-thon |
|
On May 20th 2007 the ACCJ, NIS and other local sponsers held the annual charity walk-a-thon at Meijo Koen.
The event includes walking for charity, live music and food provided by a number of local bars and restaurants. Casablanca Restaurant sponsored a booth providing Moroccan cuisine to festival attendees. In addition there was belly dancers and SHISHA.
This was a great event for a great cause so please join us next year for this wonderful day of community spirit.

| HALLOWEEN PARTY |
|
We had a fantastic crowd at our Halloween party this year, the perfect number (about 100 people in all) to ensure that everyone got plenty to eat and drink and we could all move around freely. Most of the guests came dressed for Halloween and we were VERY impressed with some of the home-made costumes!! I feel the challenge for next year!!
Thanks to our wonderful dancers who all put on a great show. Our Flamenco dancers, Michie and Chikako, were cutely dressed up for Halloween. Sanae managed to bring everyone to their feet (as she usually does) with her belly dance show. A special thanks to Mami, our belly dance performer from Tokyo, who was absolutely fantastic! We hope to have her among us again in the future.
Most of all, "Thanks" to all of our wonderful patrons who came out to help us celebrate this event. We hope to see you all at Moroccan Restaurant Casablanca in Nagoya real soon.

| Casablanca 3rd Anniversary Party |

Casablanca`s 3rd Anniversary Party was a big success!
155 people crammed in to enjoy Flamenco, and of course Belly dancing. After the shows, our guests kept the party going by getting on stage and dancing their own dances, there was also the Moroccan Jambi in duet with the spanish congass, line dancing, and even hiphop dancing. Everybody was full, and had a lot of fun.
We really had fun too, and would like to say thank you to all of you that joined us that night, for having supported us for the last three years, and hope to see you all for many anniversaries and other events to come, stay in touch and see you soon. |
